Oil Painting / still life at Studio Eleven

These oil painting classes are open to students of all levels. There is no structured curriculum: experienced students paint the still life at their own pace and receive individual instruction; beginning students are welcomed and should contact Elizabeth well before the first class. Class size: minimum of four students and maximum of eight students.

SESSION ONE: 5 weeks.  Tuesdays, February 7 through March 6, 2012

Afternoon session: 2 - 4:30, $160.

Evening session: 6:00 - 8:30, $160

SESSION TWO: 5 weeks.  Tuesdays, March 13 through April 10

Lexington Rockbridge Studio Tour

Saturday April 21 and Sunday April 22, 2012, 10-5 each day.

We're in the midst of planning a studio tour featuring eleven artists' studios arranged in an easy 20 mile driving loop though Lexington and Rockbridge County. The "Sauder Compound" with my painting studio, Lee's blacksmith forge and smelting pavilion, the house and garden will be featured. The tour is free and work will be for sale. Private Painting Lessons

I’m available to teach private lessons. I teach still life in my studio and landscape in the field at $25 per hour. I’m also happy to teach workshops in my studio or at your location on Color Theory & Paint Mixing, Materials for Oil Painters, Oil Painting for Beginners, or Critique.
